If you think you have the skills and creativity to be our 1st ever Social Star then here is how you enter in 2 easy steps:

1. Create a BRILLIANT Hairstyle on yourself

2. Post your video on your own Tik Tok channel including the hashtag ‘#DenmanSocialStar’, ‘#DenmanBrush’ and @denmanbrush in the caption. Multiple entries are allowed.

There is no theme for the competition we just want to see your creativity! The Competition is open globally to residents aged 13 and over. To participate, you must have a public TikTok account (follow @denmanbrush) and have a valid email account to take part in the challenge.

The quest to find the next GLOBAL SOCIAL STAR begins today (July 1st 2021) and will end on July 31st 2021 at 11.59PM (BST) so make sure you get your entries in before then!

Once the challenge finishes we will select 10 Finalists to compete in a final round!

Terms and Conditions

By taking part our Denman Social Star challenge, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions stated, then you should not take part. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the current terms and conditions before entering. We, Denman Brush, recommend that you save a copy of the terms and conditions for future reference during the challenge.

Terms

The Competition will commence, and end of the dates and times as set out on www.denmanbrush.com

The initial entry may be submitted from July 1st 2021 and end on July 31st 2021 at 11.59pm (BST) All competition entries received after this closing date will be automatically disqualified.

Entry Requirements

Entry into the Competition is free of charge. No purchase is necessary.

The Competition is open globally to residents aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of 13, you must obtain prior written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim any prize. We may ask the winner to provide proof of age and eligibility. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

This Competition is open to both non hairstylists, amateur and professional hairstylists as long as their participation in this Competition does not result in a conflict of interest with any pre‐existing third party agreements. Employees of Denman International Ltd, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition cannot enter the competition.

Judging of competition

Denman HQ will select the top 10 finalists. The 10 selected finalists will receive a Denman Gift Box filled with Denman products for the final challenge. The 10 finalists will be notified by the Denman HQ judging team with the Denman Challenge.

The T&Cs and judging criteria will be sent to the finalists.

The 10 finalists will create their look using the Denman Products provided for them and upload to TikTok using the hashtag ‘#DenmanSocialStar’, ‘#denmanbrush’ and @denmanbrush in the caption. Please note only 1 entry will be valid for the final challenge.

All 10 finalists will have 1 week to upload their video to TikTok.  A panel of judges will review and give each finalist a score.

The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Denman Brush will use reasonable efforts to notify the winner by DM on TikTok, via email or through any other social channel within 7 days of the closing date of the final challenge. If the winner does not respond to such notification within 7 days of notification, Denman brush reserves the right to disqualify the entrant and pick a replacement winner and may repeat this process as often as necessary.

Prize

Winner will receive:

-           £1,000 cash prize

-           A range of personalised brushes

-           Exposure on the Denman Global TikTok and social platforms

-           A Denman Product Tester

The prizes are as stated, they are not transferable and there are no alternative prizes. Denman Brush reserves the right to substitute the prizes for other prizes of like value in the event that any element of the prizes or the entirety of the prizes is unavailable for any reason beyond the reasonable control of Denman Brush. The winner shall be personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the prizes. Cash prize will be paid by bank transfer and will be the currency equivalent

Publicity

By taking part in the challenge, entrants agree to participate in publicity at Denman Brush’s request if they are a winner. Entrants agree that Denman Brush (or any third party nominated by Denman Brush) may, in its sole discretion to use their name, image, any relevant video footage of them and comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide, without notice and without any fee being paid.

Conduct of Entrants

Entrants of this Competition must behave in a way that is decent, moral, and professional. If a entrant engages in any conduct or activity that Denman Brush reasonably believes could bring the Competition or Denman Brush into disrepute, whether through their entry/entries, on social media or in person, or if a entrant submits an entry which contains any third party intellectual property without prior informed consent from the rights holder, or which contain any abusive, inappropriate, offensive or obscene language or imagery, that entrant may be disqualified. Where an entrant is disqualified, Denman Brush may select an alternative finalist.

Other

Entries will only be accepted through the entry processes and platforms.

Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending or complying with the entry requirements will not be accepted as proof of receipt or entry. Denman Brush is not responsible for entries lost, damaged or delayed due to technical or connectivity or other problems.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, TikTok or any other Social Network.

Denman Brush will have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

Denman Brush also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Entrants understand that the Denman Brush is not responsible for the actions of TikTok or any individuals that may comment on the entry.  Entrants use TikTok at their own risk.
